Children & Youth

Schedule: Kindergarten through 5th Graders attend Sunday School Weekly. 6th through 12th graders attend Sunday School or youth group activities weekly as well.

Children and Youth serving during Worship:

Children 8 years of age and older are invited to train and serve in acolyte roles of torch, banner, and small cross. Youth ages 12 and older are invited to train to serve as lectors, crucifier, book bearer, and other roles as assigned by clergy.

*Our nursery is open every Sunday at 9:45 am to care for children ages 0-5 while their parents / caregivers are in worship.

Adults

”Christian Formation is a lifelong learning endeavor. We read Holy Scripture throughout our lives, and as we mature we change. Our views and needs change, and the world changes. Seasonal studies, forums based on important issues of the day, and clergy and lay-led discussion groups are some of the opportunities for continued spiritual growth. Here we learn about the context of lessons of Holy Scripture, the vocabulary of the Septuguent, the Apocrypha, Epistles, Psalms, and Gospels (too many to list), and practical methods for personal prayer and spiritual practices such as a Rule of Life.”
